Some people are idiots.

I called the billing dept. at the hospital today. A recent "urgent" care visit was billed as an emergency visit and that makes a big difference in my co-pay. I called to get it straightened out and got an idiot. She said that the doctor codes the patient's chart, the charts get coded into the system and there is nothing she can do. She suggested I call the doctor or one of the nurses in the ER.

Are you kidding me? She expects me to call the ER to get a billing problem straightened out??!?

What an idiot.
